tbh i would love to start a ww2 themed RTD with players being on the axis side of the conflict but i'm afraid that i will cause a lot of controversy and hate by trying it. should i abandon the idea. Or try to fictionize it. Or just keep it

I doubt it'd cause much controversy given how mellow these boards are.

Here's some things I've learned the hard way:

1: Keep a reasonable amount of players, I'd say no more then eight.
2: Spaceship RTDs don't work out well, considering everyone but the captains/pilots usually have a boring job when they're not in combat.
3: Don't do too many dice rolls, as each time you add another dice roll the chance of success goes down by a lot.
4: Make sure people can go places and they know it, otherwise... They'll get bored.
5: Don't add a ton of complexity, some is fine, but too much and it becomes less of an RTD and more of a Forum Game.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.
