Gouging\Pinching out someones eyes

Hello everybody, I've wondered why in .31 it's no longer possible (at least for me) to remove a creature\humanoid eyes via wrestling or any other way. Why is it so?

I (using 31.06) had no such problems gouging out eyes and other facial features while descovering how to pinch sombodys head off (OT: I figured it out :D).

Make sure you grab their HEAD with your HAND and select GOUGE and you wil quickly have a blinded opponent.

I think he's talking about actually removing the eyes, not simply injuring them.

So far...no, I haven't actually ripped out someone's eyes. Was it possible in older versions to beat someone up with or throw their own eyeballs at them?

No, currently eyes can be gouged indefinitely.

Only if they're on stalks and you sever them with a slashing attack.

I do rather like the idea of smashing eyes, but I'd feel better if I could legitimately remove them.

Currently, they just get mangled (turn red). I dunno why Toady decided to change the gouge mechanic.

Those that have eyes on stalks, (snailmen, slugmen, and maybe titans/forgotten beasts,......JarJar Binks, lol), you can actually pinch them off.

Throats cant be removed as well, only damaged to brown.

Sure is, and hearts and throats have a major artery tag but it dosant work currently, so you can life with an arrow to the throat or heart just fine

(unless it gets stuck in, then a glitch occurs where the bleeding NEVER stops, even after you remove the arrow stuck in your toe)
