Well, we've got an action for Frank, and an implied action for Michiru. If you want a more overt one for Michiru:

Frank looks at the zombie, and narrows his eyes. "Get in the truck, Michiru. I'm going to get us breakfast, then I'll be right back. These commupinkos seem to be pretty slow, so just drive around a bit if he gets too close."
Frank runs for the diner and darts inside.

Michiru, meanwhile, sees this as her opportunity! With Frank distracted, she can change safely!

Meanwhile, inside, Frank discovers the place is empty. He heads into the back room, and immediately begins grabbing supplies from the fridge. Nothing is bad yet, meaning the disaster must have been recent... He throws some bacon, pancake goop, and eggs on the grill, and cranks it on, filling the whole grill and making as much food as possible. Ah, it works! Perfect! Just as he finishes the pancakes, he hears the front door bell ring. Scooping most of the food into a big takeout box, he also grabs up a bunch of the pancakes, heads out to the front counter and throws them down. The zombie seems interested, and descends on the plate and begins to devour the food! He is momentarily distracted!
