So yeah, that's the book of Job.

Why did God just let Satan stroll into Heaven anyways?

Because its a divinely inspired allegory, or alternately because Satan strolls around everywhere else and is the 'prosecutor' in this court?

Any serious questions?
There are some theologies that suggest that the Satan character was forcibly banished from the heaven concept, which is, once again according to some theologies, defined by the presence of the God character. If the God character converses with the Satan character, or, indeed, for the two to have any contact at all, then the banishment would need to have been invalidated. So, depending upon beliefs, this is a perfectly valid, and therefore serious question. Your dismissiveness of the query is most unbecoming...

Is this an appropriate thread for religious discussions?

Not really, but if we start a new thread for religious discussion, things could get nasty and ban worthy.

Answering the struck out part. ;)

The "theologies" in question are Traditional, rather than Scriptural.

No, the last few discussions we all had about religion were generally fine. The Atheist thread doesn't count, as that's a thread about atheism.
