There are some theologies that suggest that the Satan character was forcibly banished from the heaven concept, which is, once again according to some theologies, defined by the presence of the God character. If the God character converses with the Satan character, or, indeed, for the two to have any contact at all, then the banishment would need to have been invalidated.
