a world without elves
« on: May 07, 2011, 09:48:36 am »

So I've started playing around with advanced world generation, and I just created a world without elves. :/
And all I did was modify the POCKET REGION template to have 0 minimum partial/complete ocean edges and only 5 years of history.

Something else very interesting: There's a human hamlet and two human fortresses in the south that I'd like to try embarking next to, but there's no mountains.
My choice of biomes are sand desert or tropical grassland. Any ideas which would be easier?

If it's a savage desert, then go for the grasslands. If not, then go for the desert.
Reasoning? GDS are real killers. However, a sand desert guarantees sand, so glass items ahoy!

Lol. So have I. :)
It's not hard to do with advanced world gen, actually, just set max elevation below 300 and you get no mountains.
