Random game improvement suggestions

Let's do some brainstroming.

1. I'd like an "extract seeds" function in the kitchen or the farmers workshop. So you don't need massive amounts of barrels anymore to get the seeds from the plants.

2. Realistic drawbridge raising/falling speed. Catapult bridges and atom smashers are fun and all, but, no....

I agree on the first one since it adds an option, which is always good.

The second one raises question marks with me though, It already takes 100 frames before a bridge opens/closes please redefine what you mean.

3. Implementation of the mechanics goal on the everlasting voting spree ;)

4. Multi-core support (Or are you only searching for gameplay improvements?)

Drop-and-drag millitary equip screen.

The outline of a dwarf, with slots for equipment, and you drag the particular item you want that dorf wearing onto the hand/body part you want it equipped in. but thats more of a graphical update, or rather, wont see the light of day until the graphics are in place.

A wood/coal powered furnace for disposing of refuse, maybe powerable by burning clothes or cloth ( gives a purpose to the giant elven cloth convoys lol)

Some kind of buildable waterfall generator rather then the pump stack method, but a workshop of sorts built of metal, screws, and pipe sections. But that gets into the dwarven steampunk area and toady doesn't really want to go there. I'm not for the dwarven steampunk, but if people are already building pumpstack waterfalls, might as well give them an easier way to do it.

This won't happen, as Toady has describe it to mean hampering the modding community, and Toady doesnt see a way to implement such a screen graphic to be moddable. How it currently stands, it doesn't matter how many legs or hands or arms you give a creature it can still be be equip items in adventure mode and fortress mode.

I like this one.

This also probably won't happen, as this a community discovery of doing something dwarfy within the game. By adding a building that does this would be redundant and only offer restriction to those that choose to use it.
