It's between a man, a woman and their sacred undergarments.

I'm so hyped for this movie, I'm just really sad that Wallace and Scott don't look anything like their comic versions... They were both cute, but their real life actors are hideous >_<

edit: And I -must- have that CBC t-shirt that Scott wears in the trailer!

I met Stephanie Meyer. She went to BYU, as I did (me being non-LDS).

People laugh when I tell them Twilight is a typical Mormon-dating love triangle of which I saw many while I was in attendance at BYU.

What was she like?

And, Mormon love triangle? Do tell more.
She was very polite and laid back at the time. This was before the big Twilight blowup years back so I had no idea who she was. I was introduced to her in a group, "This is Stephanie Meyer, author of Twilight." And I told them that I was sorry, but I had never heard of Mrs. Meyer or Twilight. Then Stephanie Meyer laughed and said, "You don't really look like the type." I felt better when I figured out that she knew I wouldn't be into sparkly vampire love-dodecahedrons.

But then later most my female friends wanted to castrate me for not getting an autograph or something.

As for Mormon love-triangles... imagine the only thing more sexually frustrated and repressed than geeks on the internet. Welcome to Mormon dating - and Twilight.

But yeah, complete opposite of Mr. Card, who seemed a bit unhinged and kept ranting about how he was irritated that everyone liked Ender's Game better than the later Ender's Game universe books and we must all be on guard against evil liberal plots against freedom.

She must've went nuts crazy after Twilight went big, then, considering how much she flipped after Breaking Dawn.

You should've got an autograph, you could've sold it on eBay.

That sounds like a brilliant place to get sex.

Did he really not get why Ender's Game was better? Did he not even realise what he wrote?

Liberal plots against freedom?

By the way, Speaker of the Dead and later Ender's Game books are based on the Book of Mormon in SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE

I could have lived happily never knowing that. Glad I never made it farther than Ender's Game.

Don't be hating, all the best works of fiction are inspired by some religion or another.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Oh I have a great love of religion and dogma and mysticism and all that. Mormons just run with a particular brand of crazy I can't get in to.

Mormons aren't actually that different than anybody else in the West. They just like things like polygamy, so they get a bad rap.
