Getting seeds into barrels

My dwarves started putting seeds into barrels but after filling up the first one they never added more barrels to the stockpile (the stockpile only accepts seeds) even though I have plenty of barrels to spare.

Do you have bags for the seeds?  In order to be stored in a barrel seeds need to first go into a bag, if you have no bags the dwarves will just pile loose seeds into all the free spaces of the stockpile.

Thought so. Weird how is doesn't list bags in the barrels inv
