Alarm Trap

Link a Mounted Bell to a Pressure plate, and when someone steps on it, the bell rings.

The alarm should be turned off by "Q" the bell.

Also the game already has its own version of the Alarm trap as it is...

The Chained War Dog

And it has the bonus of possibly killing the intruder while it is at it

Any "^" is an alarm trap. Any "*** cancels ***: ***" is an alarm trap. Practically any alert message is an alarm trap. I fail to see how building a trap that functions just like any other trap except make a fuss about how it's been tripped instead of doing anything productive (like say... maiming or capturing the enemy) would help a situation where an alarm trap would be useful.

It's just like the time that when the bully took your toy, instead of being a man and kicking the bully in the balls before gouging his eyes and eating his tongue, thus getting your toy back, you run to your mommy and cry about how he took your toy and your mom doesn't frigging do anything, instead promising to buy you a new one "just as good as that Red Power Ranger" but never does so! ARGH!

The only way Alarm traps would be useful would be if they could effect Trap Immune creatures or Creatures who know where your traps are (slight difference between them)

However as stated... Chained Wardogs are still better... and cheaper... In fact a Chained Wardog makes you money
