Equipping my Soldiers

I have 2 recruits and I want to equip them in bone armor, how would I go about doing this?

Keep in mind that equipping is buggy at the moment. I've been waiting for my own dwarf to equip for over a year and only a few pair of underpants got signed off by the arsenal dwarf...

He is my leader/manager, so he should be capable to do it. Maybe outfitting is seen as a real low priority, and managing the fort always overrides.
However, I've got three leaders at this point (which comes and go for now reasons): it causes troubles with the liaisons and maybe has other effects as well.

From the description of the event, I think that your copy of Dwarf Fortress was on drugs when this happened. That's surely the only logical explanation for a human werewolf with deadly farts dying from it's own excrement after slaughtering some goblins comrades.
