Succession Game Concept
« on: May 28, 2010, 02:06:42 pm »

So, I came up with this idea for a succession game in the new version but I really don't have the time to do the work for it myself.  Thus, I am presenting it to you all in the hopes that someone will pick it up and I can at least read about it.
:)

The basic idea is that each person will get seven dwarves and a pile of supplies from the person before and then have to use those to set up a new fort that is separate from the previous ones.  (Using burrows to keep the mini-forts distinct)

Turns would be determined by achieving some set supply amount and seven spare dwarves.  The old trade depots should be forbidden so each new fort would have to construct it's own.  I'd personally say that the most amusing way of handling which 7 to hand off would be to keep making the original 7 found each new mini-fort.

Anyway, that's my idea. I'll leave it up to someone else to run with it, or not.

I suppose it either starves or becomes self sufficient.

Wall them off so they can't interact with the outside world.

But they never would have given up either. And compared to sitting around in this prison for the rest of my life? Losing is fun.
