Spears with salt on them for your wounds....

So I just saw an artifact iron spear menacing with spikes of rock salt....

One word, "ouch."

Can you find a way to decorate with rock salt and perhaps have the salt spiked spear give [pain] effects due to salt in the wounds?

I am just curious because it might be considered awesome dwarven by some.

Would be awesome, but decorations dont actualy do anything other than add some item value.

Future version of df should enable poisoned weapons, in the current one it is pretty much impossible.
