Just had one of those odd ideas that only come to me late at night: a way to make a prehensile beard.
It would require a pretty long beard which can be braided into thick braids, and probably a degree in robotics.

Step 1: hide metalic plate in base of beard, this will serve to keep everything else in place
Step 2: create small, thin, prehensile robots (basicly motors attached to small poles)
Step 3: attach robots to plate in beard, creating thick braids around robots, completely obscuring them from view while being able to control the motion of the braid
Step 4: hide robot controls somewhere unobvious on body, but easily accessible
Step 5: go up to random people, strike up a conversation, and while you are talking make your beard move, seemingly on its own; keep it very subtle at first, but if they don't notice, have it slowly move up and poke them in the face
