Europe at War - 1939
This is a war game loosely based upon World War II. There are five main powers, Germany, France, Italy, The United Kingdom, and Russia; so that means only five people will be able to play. The turns will be played out in the following order: Germany, Italy, Russia, France, and then The United Kingdom. When it's your turn, I will pm you about it. Don't submit your turns until then, or you might be making a move you don't want. Your turn must be submitted by pm to me. None of the powers are allied at the start, so diplomacy is a must if you want to survive.
Each army is supported by one territory, and its initial power is based on that. The armies on the side of the board look like this:
German Army - 10 - Germany
What this means is that the first part is what territory that army is from. The second is the armies strength, and the last is what territory it is currently located. To gain new armies, you need to capture new territory.
On your turn, you can move each army into any adjacent territory. If you do not own that territory, a battle starts no matter what. Armies are allowed to move into sea zones, as this simulates riding in a transport ship.
Each army has its own strength, and that is the most important part of combat. Other factors influence combat, such as territory controlled or lost, and the size of the enemy power that you are attacking. In other words, there is moral and there is a chance that your army will retreat.
