Usually the blatant logical faults come from their preconceptions. Not understanding/wanting to understand what 'Liberals' are, not understanding that all Atheists are not 'Liberals', not understanding that being an Atheist does not preclude you from moral thought, not understanding that being gay does not mean being a rapist, that sort of thing. (I am not exaggerating at all, for once. Those are all stock-standard assumptions I have found to be extremely common in the super-conservative Christian sub-group mindset) Unfortunately most have been extensively told that anyone telling them otherwise is a liar and a communist, so basically anything you say or link to or use as proof that those assumptions are wrong are called Liberal bias/propaganda. In order to get most of these people to change their minds, you basically have to completely change their worldview. Guess how easy that is to do, especially on the internet?

Hmm, yeah, we have to distance ourselfs from B12... no idea how. But I kinda want to get this working.

The major problem is us turning into what we're going there to 'fight' against, we'll end up just being as bigoted as they are. So to stop this I think our mission should be to "Encourage open mindedness through peaceful means, such as making people question what they've been told and proper debates with hard evidence to back it up."

Also, this site has been around for a long time, and I was wondering how good the mods are? Like I said I'm a new at this. Any tips? I usually hate trolls but these people hurt America. I feel like a batman

Do you have to mindlessly blend in to avoid getting banned or can you raise valid points and arguments from real life examples like on this forum and get excellent discussions?

Judging by the fact that I stumbled upon a very heated debate about whether homosexuals were irredeemable heathens or irredeemable heathens who deserved to be ostracized and victimized (with the former group calling the latter 'bigots' no less), I'd say pick something that cartoonish caricatures of religious zealots disagree with, find a news article relating to how those soppy-headed liberals support it, post a thread with the article pasted in its entirety into a quote bubble, and then loudly whine about how the spineless, racist president of the US is intentionally trying to give the free world over to terrorist muslims. Half the threads I found were just one post with and article completely quoted.
