So how many here on Bay12 keep one? Not necessarily like a paper one, but online, that people can read. I've had one for a while, but only use it once in a blue moon. Anyone update more frequently? And what on? It'd be cool to read if anyone has anything interesting--the people on this forum tend to be rather, eh, interesting individuals, so to speak.

It mostly has. Thats why I'm curious if there are any still floating around out there. The bay12 crowd is many things, but trendy is rarely one of them xD

I did, but then I stopped, partly because life is somewhat uneventful, and the things I love to put in blogs wouldn't really be all that 'public friendly'. Seems like 'the most awesomest stuffs foreverz' for you is rather drab for everyone else. If you do creative projects that can be put in media, it would be worth blogging about, I guess.

For me, it boiled down to 'private is private' and if I want to share my life with others, I'll just call them, yah know...

I put a couple of entries in and then just stopped.

That pretty much seems to be the formula. You know, its sort of funny. In the days of yore, only the lucky few had the means to write of frivolous things, and historians now treasure those brief snaps of old-school life. Nowadays, the vast majority of people have every opportunity to record any thought they could ever have, and they don't even care themselves. Its sort of funny, in a way.

The things we want most may be the most fickle, once we actualy have them. Seems like recording your own existance was one of these. Except for Twitter-Nazis. Oh, how I hate Twitter-Nazis.

This is why I preferred when blogs were popular. At least people put some analysis or thought into their emotions and actions. Now, they just sort of record the most trivial of details.

I've done a couple over the past years, posted here as forum threads.  Links are in my sig, under the "personal" section.  Chronologically, India came first.

'Course, I wasn't aware that I was actually blogging when I wrote them.  I only found out later, much to my shock and surprise.
