Modding in quests in the future?

Well I've been playing RPGs lately (waiting for the military to be fixed) and I thought about modding quests. Now I know everything is random, but possibly we could make parameters with it such as:

[PLAYER_NAME] is offered to retreive [LOST_ARTIFACT] in [ABANDONED_FORT]
by [TOWN_LEADER] he warns the [MEGABEAST] guards the fort. He offers
[PLAYER_NAME] a reward of [ITEM/CASH] and attains a higher disposition with
the village. As he leaves the pub he is approached by [MERCHANT] he offers
a [LARGE_CASH] reward. As hes about to leave the city he is approached by [TOWN_HIGH_PRIEST]
who says that [LOST_ARTIFACT] is precious to [RELIGION] and [GODS_NAME]
needs it. [PLAYER_NAME] will not receive any reward but will attain an extremely
high disposition with [RELIGION] and [TOWN_NAME].

Thats just one I just made, is it a good idea or no?

do not yet speak of the future... for if it should not take the expected path, than you shall cause disappointment.
and besides, this should be moved to DF suggestions board.
