Very new to my Mac, and DF.
I know that there are plenty of good tilesets available, like mayday's...but I don't know how to get them to work.

I tried moving the graphic files from the mayday file into the DF file....but I don't think I did it right.

Any help?

I've been fooling around with that page, but I don't think I have the right version of the game. What's the latest Mac version I can use.

Oh, of course. You can't use the newest version that Mike has on that site. I'll dredge up the old one for ya.

For the mac version, you should be using this http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/df_28_181_40d_m.zip this is what you'll be PLAYING
And you want DFG21 or below to be put in http://mayday.w.staszic.waw.pl/~mayday/upload/DFG21.zip

If you want a tileset off the wiki, I recommend Aesomatica http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/List_of_user_character_sets#Aesomatica . You only need to click the picture a few times and drag the image onto your desktop and do the correct procedure which is found at http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/40d:Tilesets
