Drinking water

This just in, dwarf dies of dehydration... cause? idiot urist would Rather die then drink murky water. anyone else have this problem?

If you put a zone over the pool, does it show tiles of drinking water?  I have had saltwater murky pools and even a saltwater brook with waterfalls.

Did he start towards it in the end, but not leave enough time to get there? Was it not in a zone, with zone only drinking? locked doors?

Maybe it was a thirst-strike: Give me booze or give me death! True to his dwarven nature.

A true dorf would rather die than drink water of any quality. I'm glad proper dorfenliness survives in your fort, good sir.
