I want to fuse Aesomatica_16x16.png with DigDeeperNEW_16x16.png . One has a black background and the other has pink. I have All the Adobe apps and paint. I have rudimentary skills with Adobe, so I've found that it's easier to edit tilesets with paint. But I think that this color-opposite thing will mess things up. Or can I just select what I want and copy/paste it without worrying about the pink?

I have already used the search to find instructions on tilesets. And I've read the wiki (low comprehension tho) too.

Open the pink one in Photoshop. Go to Select > Color Range. Choose pink with fuzziness 0 and click OK. Then press delete.

The single most usefull tool I use is turning on a 16x16 snap to grid and to use the rectangle select tool.  Second would be layers, and third the magic wand and all color select tools.

Make sure the background is showing transparent (checkerboard) instead of solid white or black. You may need to explicitly set the image mode to RGB Color. Go to File > Save For Web & Devices. Choose PNG-24 with transparency enabled.

Had to switch it to Layer 0 and switch back every time I copied something new onto it. It really is a process that you need to figure out youself, or have someone right next to you teaching you. And Phssthpok, thanks for the advice. I never would have found that by myself

It's a tileset fusion. I used Aesomatica. I did change some colors myslef, tho. I'll fix the numbers tomorrow, I have to sleep now.
