So I started a Play Now human adventurer..happened to start in my best fort and got a bag full of that beautiful neon blue metal crafts, a steel shield and a nice neon blue battle axe, which I used to slaughter the hell out of a forgotten beast crab with a crystal carapace..(it was blind, so it just stood there and took it) and then escaped the fort and made it to a nearby town, eager to get some armor that would fit me by trading all my super valuble crafts...and got the nemesis failure crash..losing everything.

this is why you save periodically, especially after finding unobtainium stuff. Remember that the physical laws of this new world aren't exactly stable yet and reality can sometimes collapse in upon itself.
