Playing as a filthy Human.

I know the whole [CIV_CONTROLLABLE] tag is needed, but I have another concern. Should I copy and paste most (if not all) the dorf position entries and modify them a bit? I just want to make sure I won't be missing out on anything needed for a good fortress town.

Yeah, anything with the [SITE] tag outside the landed nobility is probably essential. Otherwise you'll be lacking in managers, chief medical humans, brokers, and so on.

Nah, I'll try to use defenders and archer spams. I'd like to think that only dwarves know the secrets of traps.

 Be sure to enable giant corkscrews though. Otherwise you won't be able to make screw pumps.

 Also be sure to mod a new layer on top of the Humans made of filth.

make sure you have two dwarf civs, otherwise you won't be able to trade with dwarves, which is the preferred method of getting stuff that only dorfs make.

adding reactions to the civ is for wusses.

I'm currently playing a human stronghold, and my only two nobles are the archivist, and the warlord.

no manager, no broker, no doctor.... FUN

Also, I'm thinking of using this idea to make more human-friendly adventurer base camps. Make human-sized armor, etc etc.
