Glaciers in oceans
« on: December 22, 2007, 07:23:00 am »

...not on a patch of land, directly over the ocean, so when we dig down the layers go like this:
Ice
water
Soil, if any
Rock, if any

It could be positioned as a lone freezing island, or extend from glacial land. Make it distinguishable from normal glaciers by placing a nameless layer marked aquifer (just the water symbols) under the ice layer.

The use of this? So we can finally reach the bottom of the sea!

I am also in agreement with this. DF can never have enough world generation possibilities!
