This game is a free game, the game maker takes basically no responsibility for what they put in the game (unless it is really nasty. Much, much more nasty then DF). After all, it's their fault that they played the game.

Didn't both France and American (probably others too) attempt to make free software illegal at one point. Or they where lobbied to. Something like that.

Most tile/gfx sets probably come under the various copyright laws too as few of them say they are free to use
