I doubt it.
This is the forum section for the previous Armok game, a 3D RPGish thing.

You would get a much better response if you moved this into one of the main DF sections.

To answer the original question, crossbows are awesomesause in DF, train up an elite unit if you're scared of demons.  But don't bother using the Adamandium for it.  Train up your weaponsmith on non-Adamantium bolts, and Armorsmith on non-Adamantium armor.  Or build a drawbridge to flatten the demons, but you'll have to trigger the drawbridge manually, as the demons will not trigger traps.
