Make shift+arrow key = cursor moves fast
« on: November 26, 2006, 12:41:00 am »

There's a "cursor moves fast" feature for squad stationing, but it's badly needed for other screens (designations, take from stockpile, and just general fortress management).

Could you make it so that shift+arrow makes the cursor move fast on any screen where it normally moves one square at a time?  This could replace the "cursor moves fast" toggle on the squads screen as well; it's a little awkward implemented as a toggle.

temp. workaround... hit a combo of home/end/pg up/pg down... if you want it to be even faster.. add a direction too.

...problem arrives when you try to move in a straight line... moving off screen from original tile.. and promptly lose count

mouse would also be good for stockpile!

The left mouse button would have to be disable, to prevent huge amounts of 1-tile stockpiles.

Provided there isn't some kind of conflict, shift should work...  I think shift + other things mostly works now.
