Adventure Mode Syndromes
« on: April 22, 2010, 10:05:33 pm »

Has anyone come up with any cool syndrome(poison) based stuff in adventure mode? Either being killed by it via. Forgotten Beast or certain animals, or managed to use it offensively?

First person to make an elven village rot to death get a free drink on me.

What do you really need to turn Elves into Dwarves? Mutation could make them grow a beard; insanity effects could make them evil-minded, aggressive, tree-hating cave dwellers, and instant, full necrosis of their lower legs could make them short.

If you get deadly blood from a generated monster on a weapon, then stab other people with it, will they contract the sickness too?

Ok, here's my cunning plan.

1.edit wolves so that they have an extremely poisonous blood
2.make humans and dwarves immune to this poison
3.stab some wolves
4.stab some elves
6.?? ??
7.PROFIT!

Only if it's contact/inhaled. For some reason stabbing someone with it doesn't count for injection. I can make a fun poison if you want me too. I do so love making poisons.

There was a guy on these forums once who slew a forgotten beast with his adventurer, only to find that her arms and legs were rotting off, and tried to cure the rot with fire only to melt off her face and the rest of her fat. He retired in a village with the intent of returning with another adventurer to put her out of her misery.
