Metafrequency channels can be OOC as long as everyone on the channel agrees, and discussion about the game on forums is fine if I recall correctly as long as you don't violate the metagaming policy (so like discussing characters and stuff I think would violate it). Just sticking with basic game mechanics is fine though!

Ah, gotcha! Got  a new ship today, a tattoo, and pierced my lip in-game. Met some cool new people, flew a few missions, and can almost get a 2-man vanguard combat ship for us to play with. Taking a break to recharge, then jumping back on maybe in an hour or so.
