« on: April 13, 2010, 09:57:20 pm »

each time the game saves it seems to create a new game file, now i have tons of them in my save folder. is it supposed to do this? and how do i tell which one is the most recent one so i can delete the others.

Did you change your backups in the init file to seasonal or to yearly?  If so, it creates 'region1-aut-1051' when it backs up a save at the start of that season in that year.

regionN is always the save you should use...unless you want to go back to a backup (in which case you should rename whatever you're going back to to regionN, to avoid confusion).

Turn off autobackup, it'll stop making lots of save folders.
