Party Crasher *possible spoilers*
« on: April 13, 2010, 05:31:28 pm »

So being the good guy that I am I had a decent little dining room made with a respectable restaurant serving fast food and lavish meals. Nothing too fancy and yet the dwarfs decided to turn it into an endless party with most of the population there day and night.

It was so bad that I was getting spammed with messages from dwarves cancelling attending because they were out of floor space. This screen shot doesn't show the countless dwarves off hauling more meat and alcohol in. It was getting hard to get anything done.

I'm not sure if they drink more in party mode now but between 25 and 40 dwarves went through over 100 unites of alcohol in the space of a few minutes somehow. Next thing I notice is 3 dwarves sleeping in the hospital beds apparently uninjured but "unconcious".

Suddenly a moody armorsmith goes stark raving mad and proceeds to kick the crap out of two dogs. The dogs can't even chew through his clothes. Party goers are freaking out and food and booze is lying everywhere including in a couple of key doorways. People are running for their lives.

The dogs slowed the guy down while I hastily called the pathetic military. Just as the last dog slammed up against the wall and lay there the military came in and beat the guy down. After a few minutes of kicking the guy in the head he died as well.

Now no one will hold a party there. Actually don't think I've had a single party held anywhere since. I think I'll have the place engraved to see if anything interesting turns up.

He might've uprooted the furniture piece that you declared the room from in the first place.  Check it out - is it still considered a room?

Possibly the first sighting of a Dwarf Rave?

Perhaps we should devise a system of magma pumps and stained windows to create disco lighting, using the muffled cries of dying elves in the toture chambers as music?

This is a fine-crafted glowstick. It menaces with spikes of dog leather and bands of microcline.

Hey, I'm cool with you tying a dog up and shooting it with a ballista if you're short on elves, but there's not need to lie about it to us.

I don't think that's for science, anymore.

What do you really need to turn Elves into Dwarves? Mutation could make them grow a beard; insanity effects could make them evil-minded, aggressive, tree-hating cave dwellers, and instant, full necrosis of their lower legs could make them short.
