I vote we look around in the overworld before descending into the stairwell-ridden chasm.

You think this is wierd? At least it's a chasm(Kind of), so the up-down thing makes sense.

Wait 'till we get to the

Spoiler:  Minor spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also you better do the second game after this, it has a good storyline, especially for a Pokemon game.

Punch the air out of frustration, twice
Why would i do that? There is absolutely nothing here to frustrate me.

FRUSTRATION RAAAAAAAGH!

Various Sunkern killing. Also i leveled up. Urist only knows growl and tail whip in regards to moves by the way.

You guys see the place where it says Poke? that's our money. literally all we got was 4 poke for exploring up here. And a level up but that wouldn't have taken very long anyway.

Floor two!

As you can see we really didn't miss much here. I'll stop wasting your time with this. Nothing exciting is happening.

Hey, an Oran berry! Full hp recovery. Something actually useful!

Caterpie: Mommy...
Where are you...? Sniffle...

This is all he says. Not even a few reassuring words like, "Don't worry!" or, "hey, it'll be all right!", No. all he gets is, "Hey kid we're here to rescue you come on."

Caterpie: Huh?
RaptrJesus: Your mom's waiting. Let's get you out!
Caterpie: Ok.

RaptrJesus:Aww, Don't worry lady. There have been a lot of quakes and fissures lately. It's dangerous.
THERE ARE TOO MANY QUAKES AND FISSURES. SHIT WHARES ARCEUS?
RaptrJesus: I'm glad your little guy's not hurt, honestly.
Butterfree:Please may i have your names at least?
RaptrJesus: I'm RaptrJesus. And this is Urist.

Urist: He's, uh... Staring at me adoringly... Those sparkly eyes... It's a little embarassing...)
Urist: (But this doesn't feel bad, either. It's like I'm a hero. Helping pokemon in trouble might be a good experience.)

Butterfree: I know it isn't really enough, but this is a token of our thanks. Please accept it.

We Recieved an Oran berry a Rawst berry and a Pecha berry.
Butterfree: Thank you so much. Good-bye.

RaptrJesus:You're pretty tough. I respect that.
So, uh...
What are you going to do? After this I mean...
Say urist. If you don't have anywhere to stay , why don't you come with me?

RaptrJesus: Oh? Urist. I can tell you're impressed. I thought you'd like it. I figured you'd find this an easy place to live. In fact, i was sure that you'd like it.
You know that fissure Caterpie fell into? There've been other natural disasters like that all of a sudden.  lot of Pokemon are hurting out there from those disasters. I want to help Pokemon like that. I want to make this a safer place for Pokemon. And, uh... I think you're capable after seeing how you did rescuing Caterpie. How would you like to form a rescue team with me?

Pose as a team because shit just got real.

And that is how Urist and RaptrJesus began their careers together as a rescue team.

END OF PROLOGUE.
Enjoy this prologue to the chapter ending music of your choice.

Urist: The way i look... I'm still cubone.
But why would i be transformed into a pokemon? hmm... i don't understand this at all... I feel groggy and sleepy. Not feeling well... I need more sleep...

Too many cutscenes and text. if we're not out of the woods with cutscenes next update I'll just transcribe the basic gist of what's being said.
