New Room Idea:Cold Room

How about a room that allows corpses and any other perishables to survive for an increased amount of time before going bad.
It could require that it be placed partially over the river which would explain how it cools the room.

Storing things in a mountain cave is a pretty good way to keep the temperature constant, and it should be fairly cool unless you're close to a magma vein.  But yes, a river would probably provide additional cooling.

Here's another idea: ice harvesting.  Carve up that frozen pond, haul the blocks of ice into an ice chest.  Then toss in a few frosty six-packs of tin cans of longland beer, and take that to the next party at the zoo.

HOW I MINE FOR FISH!?

Possibly as a side effect of taking ice from the river, it creates a small patch of fishable water...

Which you then put onto the ice you just dug out.
