Only noticed it in dwarf mode... no border in adv. mode... haven't looked yet in the arena...

Thoughts? Was I blind and didn't see it before?

It means there are combat reports. Hit [r] to view them.

I think I saw it in the Dev Log when Toady first implemented it.

I also noticed another symbol up there next to the C.  Can't remember what it was, though.

A green H. When I pressed r ("View Reports") There was a green message saying that someone had gone hunting. So that's red C for Combat, green H for hunting... I wonder what other reports there are? Traders possibly?

There's a blue S that also pops up when there's sparring going on, too.
