[0.31.01] Pathing updates very slow

When digging, the miners dig everything that they can reach from the start, before quitting for an in game day or two, after which they strip off another layer of rock. Also, after breaching the underworld, it takes several in game days for the game to allow me to build something there because it doesn't have access to building materials before then.

Gonna try what happens when I build a staircase or ramp, see if that also takes time before I build something on top of it.

I've noticed this occurs with masons building a wall.  They'll bring a stone to the wall, build it, and then wait there for several seconds or even minutes before moving on to something else.  Sometimes, while waiting, they even decide to lie down on the grass next to the wall and just go to sleep.  This is despite having their own rooms designated.
