The one I was really looking forward to is the moment when the caravan is almost leaving. It's crucial to pause the game at that moment, especially while running DF in the background or while the framerate is still high. Even normally, when your dwarves are busy hauling trade goods, there is not much else going on and your attention tends to wander.
