I've been playing DF for years now on my desktop, but since it died, I can't really justify buying a new one.  I have a netbook, but it has no numberpad, just the keyboard.

Is there any way to re-map the keys or something?  I get as far as outfitting the first 7 dwarves, but can't find a way to enter anything.  The plus key it's looking for doesn't exist on this device.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

1. there is a key labelled "Fn". Pressing that plus one of the function buttons will make some of your keys behave like a number pad.
2. You can buy a USB numberpad pretty cheap, if not use the keyboard from your dead pc? You might need a usb/PS2 adapter thingo.
3. FPS will be ... rather low. Unless by Netbook, you mean Notebook, with battery life in the minutes not hours.
