Oh man. So I'm not the only one who set up his depot to instantly drown merchants and steal everything for himself?

I just have a pump pumping water into a floodgate-sealed room. The floodgates double as the entrance to the room. The room is on ground level with a bunch of open ground surrounding it. When the floodgates are opened (and the pump turned off), the water just dumps out onto the ground outside. There isn't enough water stored in the room where its a huge problem, there's just a huge puddle outside which quickly spreads out and evaporates.

I tried to make an automatic trap to drown each wagon individually as it approached my trade depot, and to fling the merchants off a bridge.
Then I found out wagons don't trigger pressure plates.  :(
