Snow falling like the rain does

I see snow covered ground now, which I do not remember seeing before - so we should be able to see it falling too!

Good point, but the animation might be ugly. (White on white?) Though I guess that isn't so important as long as it's clear what is happening.

On that note, I think it'd be cool if at some point we started having odd weather stuff. Blizzards, twisters, volcanic eruptions, maybe even an earthquake. Or even smaller things like having deep snow which dwarfs would have to plow a path for the caravan, and they would move slower over what isn't plowed.

Rain currently changes random(?) tiles to a blue color, but if the ground is already white that doesnt work so well for snow. Maybe use the two * symbols?
