Hey Great Three-Toed One,
This is an amazing, addictive game.  Extremely good stuff.

I've looked through the planned improvements.  I didn't see these, but that doesn't mean they weren't there.  Some help it be more playable.  Others, add detail.

--Better text scrolling (page up/down, not just line by line)
--Text coloring of substances.  Possibly accompanied by coloring of the physical substances.  Or shading.  Or something to be better able to tell what kind of stone door that is, and what kind the dwarf likes.
--Ability to see dwarf-thoughts from the "v"iew unit menu, not just from the "u"nit list menu.  Make it an option along with g, p, w.
--Ability to jump to next unit (+/-) by unit list or by proximity.  Would be a big help finding those corpses.
--Somewhat better autoqueuing.  Ex, forge does not have metal bar.  Suspends that operation, creates a smelting order, and goes on to the next job.  Smelter operates if it can and sends a cancel if there's no ore or a request if it needs coal/charcoal.

Some game details
--Does the mountain curve?
--Could the river flow through or out of part of the mountain?
--Can you reach the other side of the mountain?
--Are there any internal structures, for instance already existing caverns and caves?

None of this detracts.  This is a great program.  Thanks again,

Just a tip, since it's not well documented, you can page up/page down in the secondary lists (those that use +/- to go up/down lines) with the * and / keys on the keypad.

On the primary lists (up arrow/down arrow scrollable), page up/page down do the trick.
