I played one of the older builds and found it to suck badly. You just ape the most experienced player for what is the best unit, camp the nearest capture point and spam those.

simplified DoW 2? I thought DoW 2 was bad enough......
I wasn't impressed with tiberium wars, the enitre pace of the game just felt really bad, with all those units killing each other in 0.2 seconds

I don't really like the multiplayer of most RTS's since I played company of heroes, which actually makes you think and use tactics instead of spamming units.......

You need to play Men of War.  Men of War totally beats CoH in terms of thinkyness.
