Doesn't a magma tile imply !!clowns!!?

I think the magma tile is tied to the boss clown who shows up regardless of which particular troupe is performing.

Its funny to see everyone use the clown metaphore in a topic that allready has *SOILERS* in its title.

Well I gotta admit that !!clowns!! is a pretty funny one hehehe

Anyhow, the couple of magma tiles are in all hfs. Its part of the bottom layer, and that one is the same for all hfs. I think the !!hfs!! has magma on other layers as well though, like frog hfs has water on the higher layers.

Also, for actualy killing the hfs, I suggest scraping some adamatine away and making a couple good speardwarves. I once had just 3 unarmoured adamantine spear dwarves kill an entire wave of froggies. Didnt expect them to survive, just wanted to see how many they could kill after I airlocked them in there. Was kind of a bummer for me, so now all my clowns are modded to be just that little bit funnier.

Useful ideas, thanks! *frantically takes notes*

They all seem to be tentacle clowns, and there’s been several deaths amongst the clowns/audience already... whether that’s from falling down a multi-storey up/down staircase or drowning I’m not certain.

Does the magma constantly regenerate like a pipe, or is there a finite amount down there? If it’s finite then I’m kinda stuck as the water has already… ‘frozen’ it.

A couple of the higher levels seem to be filled with 7/7 tiles of water, but in the bottommost levels the water is just pouring around the glowing clown car.

Will see how this progresses...

had the same thing happen with marksdwarves when I had somehow left all the bolts forbidden. Two of them beat the clowns to death with their crossbows. I got lucky they weren't flaming clowns.

Honestly, I have no love for the clown metaphor.

The magma is finite, so try not to get water on it or you'll be left with useless obsidian.
