I was bored with mods and decided to play some vanilla DF, however I use this mod which leaves the game as it is by adding small flavour and little things here and there.

In case someone wants vanilla with graphics and small neat features, this should be handy.

Installation

It's supposed to be installed over Ranting Rodent's mod (bundled release).
If you want to use it with a different graphics/tileset, do not copy matgloss_***.txt files.

Recommendation

For better experience, use with "data" folder from this mod by Umiman for adventure mode.

Oooh, nice. DF Vanilla plus ey? Gonna give this a whirl.

Yeah, just make sure you install it over RR's bundled release (there's a link in OP) because I initially modded it for that.

While I wait for the next release I decided to play base vanilla with some nice changes I'm addicted to (sphr's graphics, killing elves and using their equipment to run my forges, fun wrestling in adventure mode, Ranting Rodent's stone and gems' look showing their value etc.).
 I will try to rush to economy and keep up with mandates for a cool game . Freedom to a sheriff, a hammerer and such, let's try to do it .

There're installation instructions in the OP:

It's supposed to be installed over Ranting Rodent's mod (bundled release).

1) Install Ranting Rodent's bundled set
2) copy this thing over it.

Over means that you install it later.

Hey Deon.

I tried using your mod on a d16 base of DF, but it always crashes the game. The crash happens in Worldgen, every mapsize. It occurs during the early years of worldgen (years 25-50 for a medium world for example). Any idea why?

In case I missed something, my install method:

1) Base d16 version
2) Extract RR graphic mod (not the bundled version, since that is for "regular" d
3) Extract your files.
