Does anyone else declare themselves emporer?
« on: December 30, 2009, 10:16:25 pm »

So does any one else hire dwarven craftsmen(A.K.A. use fortress mode) to build themselves a castle in the middle of a human town then go in with adventure mode and a team of trained adventurer soldiers and wage war on the townsfolk until one side or the other is dead?
If so do you have any fun Ideas that make this more interesting?

i just build a huge tower in the middle of nowhere and put a bridge with a floor built and a lever and pull the lever and wait.

its the dwarven custom of how they choose their emporers.

Gonna try that one day.
I think he means put bridges everywhere and link them all to on lever and pull the lever in adventure mod and kill/injure all the humans?

sigged for lulz..
and basically yes.

im also in the process to make it so i can drop myself then fling myself.
it involves two bridges.
one bridge that basically drops me, and somehow getting the timeing right so when i fly past the second bridge that is retracted atm it lowers and basically hits me.
pretty much an in air atom smash or a in air fling.
both are desirable.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

You just gave me the idea of making a castle full of stuff that can be accessed by lever bridge in a human town and shooting them all to death with crossbows.
 or would the levers deconstruct?

I think this is thread necromancy, but no levers do not deconstruct, Its how I did basically what you are suggesting.

If the bridge is an obstacle, as in it is lowered, then it would work if timed correctly.  Otherwise, it's a good question.
