Enabling Adventure Mode Traps

I am trying to make a world full of interesting fortresses with HFS in cages, Goblin-filled halls, sets of levers that either drown you in lava or give you the horde of ruby and gold-encrusted adamantine stuff. Is there any way to enable traps in adventurer mode or are they always off?

However it's not supposed to work for now so for example you won't be able to disarm them or leave cage traps. Also I don't remember but I don't think pressure plates work.
