Asian carp can grow to 4 ft. (1.2 m) in length and weigh over 100 lb. (45 kg), and have a tendency to leap out of the water, injuring fishermen and the occasional newscaster.

Another thread about Asian carp.  :-\
We know about them and their climbing into the great lakes and jumping at people in boats, breaking bones and such. This is about the sixth thread about them in a month. Sorry, but you got beat to the punch.

Oh, it's not just Asian carp.  Awhile back someone linked a story about Canadian carp or someplace similar.  They're all over.  Waiting.  Hungry.  Hungry for murder, for alcohol-blooded and bearded stout people that live underground and vomit in sunlight.

Just biding their time . . .

I wonder if in a future version it would be possible to import animals for the local zoo (or whatever craziness they could be used). Just to have them escape and wreck the local ecosystem.  ;D

Do you not know forums you're in? Most days I'm pretty sure the point of this place is to see how many different threads we can use to re-hash the same issues.

Thanks for posting Caknuck.  Still, I don't think these things will jump you on the shore and drag you to your doom like a croc.

Serious, wtf is up with fish?  My first map with an actual river and the fish are murdering everything.  Sure, they're a great defense since nothing can come in from the east side of the map, but I've lost 4 dwarves and a bunch of dogs.  I'm draining the surrounding pools as vengeance. Watching a multi-titled fish die on dry land is kinda of satisfying.
