« on: January 30, 2008, 03:18:00 pm »

assigning jobs to specific dwarves!
so rather than using the jobs manager to make 6 sets of armour and enging up with all of my armours having a go, i could set my legendary guy to the lot :)
any thoughts?

Alternatively you caould assign a certain dwarf to a workshop and bingo, legendary status is nearing.
In the event that you are having several shops, it'll be a bit tricky. You might want to block the other shops with useless tasks, like say those which the dwarfs can't do, because the labour isn't enabeled.
Unless of course there would be an option to set a shop to 'inactive'.

blocking all other forges?? well its possible but i still have to do everything in batches of 6,
the whole point of using the jobs manager is for bulk tasks, i just though the ability to choose the dwarf doing those jobs might be usefull
