Cave river uncovering utility?

I've got a fortress with a large bottomless pit that I am painstakingly filling with water as a part of a farming project; unfortunately, I don't have cave water on this map. Is there a utility that will activate the spore trigger in 40d?

The river will be the brown squiggly line visible on the underside of the map.

Thats not quite what PTTG was asking for. He wants a utility that makes it so that you dont need a cave river for tower caps to grow. Right? At least thats how I interpreted it.

I dont think something like that exists, though. Perhaps the modding subforum wouldve been better to ask, since I know a few people down there dont come up here, and I see a few 'hacks' that could potentially do that.

It should be possible to hack, because magma buildings were hacked this way already. Probably you have to ask Darius (since he's around) or someone of Tweak/ForEachTile/DCompanion creators.
