I suppose you could make a 1 X 1, custom workshop that requires one(1) Staked Skull as an ingedient, and doesn't make anything, but that wouldn't have any sort of effect on viewers.

Still, it would tide over your need to publicly mutilate the bodies of your enemies, until we can get some official support for this (Please, oh please, please!).

Edit:

There is currently no Eternal Voting entry for this, however, It should probably wait for Corpses as Containers, anyway. No sense in writing code to hang up objects that would only be replaced with better objects.

The path through the wilderness is rarely direct. Reaching the destination is useless,
if you don't learn the lessons of the dessert.

Maybe, but could you then build it?

Safe-Keeper: Nah, that you can prevent purely through caution.

Caution?
Caution?
One sec...
Ah!
"alertness and prudence in a hazardous situation; care; wariness"
Wow. what a strange, foreign word to me and my Dwarves.

Honestly, I'm on the fence about the heads on stakes. As Footkerchief has pointed out, dwarves are preset in the raws NOT to put sentients on stakes (Purposefully) but then again, should that dictate what the player can or cannot do on accident? With a terrible, unfortunate "misstep" resulting in Elf-kebobs?
