Domestication tags
« on: January 28, 2010, 07:19:25 pm »

This tag would be added either to a creature or an civ entity and would make that entity treat the animal in question as a domestic creature just as [COMMON_DOMESTIC] does now. The key difference is that it would be domestic for the specified civ entity, not for all civ entities that domesticate creatures.

This would be used to have elven wagons be pulled by deer, goblins with tame wolves and dwarves with [VERMIN_HUNTER] bats all without humans caravans having weird animals or dwarves showing up with pet mooses on embark.

What's wrong with a pet moose? Those things are huge and Fun.

Anyway, I agree. It would certainly negate the need for the tag that makes civs use animals of a certain biome-type (like [EVIL] or [GOOD]).

Tags should also be added to keep dwarves from taking on cows as personal pets
