up / down selection

Sometimes the game requires me to use the up and down arrows for selection, and sometimes it requires me to use plus and minus. This is confusing to me as a new person, and I still haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet. Maybe we could prefer -one- of those two ways and apply it toward everything.

Take it for what it's worth from a n00b.
